As usual, the opening TT of the RotM was a surprise. Local favorite Wesley Meadows left Boston to the cheers of the fans, but those cheers soon became muted, as his less than inspired performance has many wondering if the former youth winner will even contend for a podium place. On the bright side, fellow American domestique Malcolm Melton rode like a man possessed, finishing in 10th place, just a minute shy of the leaders. He was unavailable for comment following the race, having collapsed at the end of the stage. MacNab was uncharacteristically short with the media following the race, quipping: "Wait for the mountains, that's where the real race starts!"

Haha! An interesting prediction, however Bright's inexperience will allow the wiley veterans to keep up...whether they can match him on the final climb however...
EricV at 20:05 10/11-2012 | | It will be a hard time for Bright in the mountains, he have to wait for hours when you both finally finish;)
Meadows can take it back in the mountains and Washington ITT :)
Scahisi will be there doing everything he can to stop him ;)
